Grace R. Kajita
<p>Dr. Kajita completed a bachelor's degree at Barnard College, Columbia University, a medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a primary care medicine residency at NYU School of Medicine. Following residency she became an attending physician for the Department of Veterans' Affairs, New York Harbor Healthcare, where she also served as firm chief for the Department of Medicine and associate program director for the Internal Medicine Residency. In 2005, she was appointed clinical instructor of medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, where she also served as associate program director for the Internal Medicine Residency. Dr. Kajita's broad range of teaching, administrative, and clinical experience includes the development of a global health elective for internal medicine residents and service as a TB unit supervisor and medical referent for Médecins Sans Frontières in South Sudan. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, MSF-USA Association, and the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Kajita has received multiple teacher-of-the-year awards at NYU.</p>

<p>Marc Gibber, MD, is Director, General/Comprehensive Otolaryngology and Associate Professor at Montefiore-Einstein. His clinical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of nasal and sinus conditions, breathing disorders, ear conditions, swallowing or throat conditions, tonsillitis and general ear, nose and throat conditions.</p><p>After receiving his Bachelor of Arts at Yeshiva University in 2002, Dr. Gibber came to Einstein for his medical education, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2008. He continued at Einstein for this postdoctoral training, completing his residency in otorhinolaryngology–head and neck surgery in 2013.</p><p>Dr. Gibber’s research focuses on innovation in healthcare, specifically digital health and remote patient monitoring. He also has an interest in surgical simulation and surgical education. He has shared his work through peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, poster presentations and invited lectures.</p><p>Dr. Gibber is board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. He has been listed among the <em>New York Times</em>’ Super Doctors - Rising Stars.</p>

<p>Mona Gangar, MD, MS, is Director. Medical Students; Co-director, Pediatric thyroid program; Faculty Advisor, ENT interest group and Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Montefiore-Einstein. Her clinical interests are in all aspects of pediatric otorhinolaryngology with a focus on pediatric head and neck pathology, and special interests in pediatric thyroid disease, vascular anomalies, resident/medical student education and global health.</p><p>In 1999, Dr. Gangar received her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the University of California Los Angeles. She attended MCP Hahnemann University from 2000 to 2002, earning her Master of Science in medical science. She then attended New York Medical College to pursue her Doctor of Medicine degree, earning it in 2006. Her postdoctoral training included an otorhinolaryngology–head and neck surgery residency at Einstein from 2006 to 2011, followed by a yearlong fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Rady’s Children’s Hospital, which she completed in 2012.</p><p>Dr. Gangar’s research focuses on all aspects of pediatric otorhinolaryngology. She has shared her work through publication in journals and podium and poster presentations.</p><p>Dr. Gangar is board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology.</p>
Gina N. Cassel
Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
<p>Gina Cassel-Choudhury, DO, is Director, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Quality & Safety Council, Assistant Medical Director, Patient Safety, and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Montefiore Einstein. Her focus at CHAM is a multidisciplinary approach to the introduction and maintenance of quality improvement initiatives which promote patient safety.</p><p>After earning her Bachelor of Science in 2003, Dr. Cassel-Choudhury attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, receiving her Doctor of Osteopathy in 2007. She began her postgraduate training with an internship and residency at North Shore-LIJ, Cohen Children’s Hospital from 2007 to 2010. Following this, she came to CHAM for a three-year fellowship in pediatric critical care, which she completed in 2013.</p><p>Dr. Cassel-Choudhury’s research focus revolves around the standardization, implementation and maintenance of guidelines to optimize patient safety. Such work has included a protocol for enteral feeding of patients on high-flow nasal cannula, a standardized algorithm to prevent iatrogenic drug withdrawal and protocol-driven management of convulsive status epilepticus. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals, abstracts and presentations.</p><p>Dr. Cassel-Choudhury is board-certified in general pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Critical Care, Section on Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS) network.</p>

<p>Bianca Calderon, MD, FAAP, is an attending physician and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Calderon is a school health physician with a special interest in adolescent reproductive healthcare.</p><p>In 2009, Dr. Calderon received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University. She went on to attend Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, earning her medical degree in 2014. She then pursued postgraduate training at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, completing her residency in pediatrics in 2017.</p><p>She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.</p>
