<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">Dr. Shiloh is the Director of the Critical Care Medicine Consult Service and Professor of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As a clinician-educator he serves as the director of critical care ultrasonography.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">After receiving his medical degree from the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University of the Negev in 2005, he completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Shiloh joined the Montefiore/Einstein Critical Care faculty in 2010.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white;">Dr. Shiloh has authored over 50 original articles, co-edited the &ldquo;The 5-Minute ICU Consult&rdquo; published by Lippincott Williams &amp; Wilkins, and has authored over 15 book chapters. His areas of interest and research include use of point of care ultrasonography, early identification of critical illness, and critical care education and simulation training.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Ariel L Shiloh, MD, is Director, Critical Care Consult Services, Professor, Medicine and Associate Professor, Neurology at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Shiloh&rsquo;s clinical interests include the early detection and treatment of critical illness, point-of-care ultrasonography for the evaluation of critical illness and advanced airway management.</p><p>After earning his Bachelor of Arts from Yeshiva University, Dr. Shiloh attended the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University, Be&rsquo;er Sheva, Israel, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2005. He came to Montefiore for his postdoctoral training, completing his internship and residency in internal medicine in 2008, followed by his fellowship in critical care medicine in 2010.</p><p>Dr. Shiloh's research includes the clinical use of point-of-care ultrasonography in critical illness, improvement of airway management, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. He has shared his work through peer-reviewed journals, invited presentations, books, abstracts and poster presentations at national conferences. He has also been a reviewer for several journals including <em>Chest</em>, the <em>American Journal of Critical Care</em> and the <em>European Journal of Anesthesiology</em>.</p><p>Dr. Shiloh is board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Neurocritical Care and Hospice &amp; Palliative Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. <p>Jacob F. Schulz, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who provides comprehensive pediatric orthopedic care with an emphasis on spinal deformity, neuromuscular disease and trauma. He has a particular interest in the growing spine, with experience using the vertical expandable titanium rib (VEPTR) device and vertebral tethering through a thoracoscopic approach. At our Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery.</p><p>He served both his internship and residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia where he was honored with the Frank Hammond Sivitz and Chief Resident Teaching Awards in 2011. During his residency, he traveled to Neustadt, Germany to study spine deformity at the Schoen Clinic, and to San Pedro Sula in Honduras to help CURE International provide world class orthopedic care to children. Dr. Schulz completed his fellowship in pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis at Rady Children&rsquo;s Hospital-San Diego, ranked second by <em>U.S. News &amp; World Report</em> in 2012.</p><p>Dr. Schulz&rsquo;s research has been published in The Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics (JPO) and presented at several national meetings. <p><span>Dr. Marjan Rahmanian is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Neurology. She is an Associate Medical Director of Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at Montefiore Medical Center. She is also Medical Director of Physician Assistant Critical Care Residency program. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. After completing her training, she joined the faculty of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where she served as an Associate Director of Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU at Montefiore Medical center. As a cardiac intensivist, Dr. Rahmanian focuses on the management of post heart surgery like CABG, valve replacemant, Mechanical Circulatory Support like,ECMO, LVAD,Impella, heart and lung transplant.</p>

<p>Staci E. Pollack, MD, MS, is the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecolgy &amp; Women&rsquo;s Health and an Associate Professor at Montefiore-Einstein. A large portion of her time is towards educating the next generation of doctors, as the OBGYN Clerkship Director, Acting Internship/Electives Director and Reproductive Systems and Human Sexuality Course Director. Dr. Pollack&rsquo;s clinical focus is on reproductive endocrinology, infertility, fertility preservation, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, reproductive anomalies, recurrent pregnancy loss, Turner syndrome, primary ovarian insufficiency and genetic conditions causing menstrual irregularities or infertility, including Kallmann syndrome.</p><p>After earning her Bachelor of Arts in biology and genetics at Cornell University College of Arts &amp; Sciences in 1987, Dr. Pollack attended State University of New York at Buffalo, earning her Master of Science in natural sciences and biology in 1988. She then pursued her Doctor of Medicine at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn-Downstate, earning her degree in 1992. She started her postdoctoral training with a four-year internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, which she completed in 1996. Following this, she pursued a two-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, completing it in 1998.</p><p>Dr. Pollack&rsquo;s research is related to fertility treatments and medical education research. She has shared her work in several peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and abstracts, as well as through many invited presentations nationally. Dr. Pollack is also an ad hoc reviewer for several journals including Fertility and Sterility, the American Journal of Medical Genetics and Maturitas.</p><p>Dr. Pollack is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology &amp; Infertility. She is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, and the Association of Professors of Gynecology &amp; Obstetrics, serving on many national committees for these organizations. She has been recognized several times for her training and mentorship, including receiving the Leo M. Davidoff Society Award for outstanding achievement in the teaching of medical students in 2003 and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Service Award in 2017.</p>

<p>Courtney McNamara, MD, is Associate Program Director, Pediatric Residency Program at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on pediatric hospital medicine, with a particular interest in resident education and mentorship.</p><p>In 2006, Dr. McNamara received her Bachelor of Science at James Madison University. She pursued her medical education at New York Medical College, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2010. She then came to CHAM for her postgraduate training, completing her pediatric residency in 2013.</p><p>Dr. McNamara&rsquo;s research focuses on improving the patient experience. She is a co-investigator in a grant funded project investigating communication with hospitalized patients with limited English proficiency, and her body of research includes quality improvement research studies focused on improving inpatient pediatric comfort and decreasing painful experiences. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, poster presentations and platform presentations.</p><p>Dr. McNamara is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 2023, Dr. McNamara was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society.</p>
