Professional Activity
Dr. Robles is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) (’11) and completed his training in Family Medicine at Montefiore’s Residency Program in Social Medicine (RPSM) (’14) in the Bronx. His areas of interest include caring for marginalized populations, medical education, and healthcare workforce development. Dr. Robles is the co-founder of the Bronx Community Health Leaders (BxCHL), a pre-health pathway program for socioeconomically disadvantaged and traditionally underrepresented students in healthcare professions. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Social Medicine (DFSM) at Einstein. In this capacity, he is involved in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. He also serves as a preceptor for a medical student-run free clinic caring for uninsured patients and underserved communities in the Bronx. Dr. Robles has received notable distinctions in medical education including Einstein’s Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award and the National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) Physician Hispanic Health Leadership Award. In 2021, he was recognized as Mentor of the Year for the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA). Dr. Robles is a HRSA Primary Care Medicine Clinician Educator Career Development Award recipient (2017-2022).
