Professional Interests
Dr. Michels is a molecular epidemiologist. A major goal of her research is to find biomarkers that can be used to identify people who are at increased risk for endometrial and ovarian cancer. Dr. Michels is also interested in understanding the causes of, and risk factors for, menopause-related health conditions.
