Institutional Training Grants The NIH Institutional Training Grants (T series) are awards are made to institutions to support groups of pre- and/or postdoctoral fellows, including trainees in basic, clinical, and behavioral research. The most common T grants are the T32- National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grant and T35- Short-Term Institutional Research Training Grant Application Process: Contact OGS to start the process at least 1 year in advance of the due date. Training grants are submitted through Cayuse. The specific guidelines for each T grant vary. Please refer to the Funding Opportunity Announcement (For example: PA-23-048). If Grad Students are involved: For most table information, coordinate with the Graduate student office (Golding) to complete the tables. For the remaining information, reach out to the DA in each department to provide the table information for their faculty. If Post-Docs are involved: There is no central office.
