Dr. Anampa plays an important role in translating bench-to-bedside and bedside-to-bench research in our TME program, and currently, he is working on the Tumor microenvironment of metastasis (TMEM) and its significance as a biomarker in breast cancer. Dr. Anampa is the principal investigator of a novel phase I trial targeting the tumor microenvironment to prevent metastasis. In addition, Dr. Anampa is leading a clinical trial to validate a novel imaging technique to identify metastasis doorways (TMEM) in vivo using MRI in patients with breast cancer.
