Dr. Antonio Spagnolo-Allende's research focuses on cognition and dementias, systemic factors affecting brain health, and advanced neuroimaging techniques. At the Einstein Aging Study (EAS), he conducts Clinical Dementia Ratings (CDR) and neurological exams, contributing to the understanding of cognitive aging and dementias. He also explores brain arterial remodeling and HIV-associated cerebrovascular outcomes. Dr. Spagnolo-Allende holds an MD from the Universidad Nacional de Asunción in Paraguay and an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University.
